Noel and Megann are the husband and wife team behind The Cornery. They spent their college days at Lehigh University and many days and nights bumming around MusikFest. This is where the kernel of the idea for The Cornery was born but it sat dormant for the past 3 decades, lest it be the butt of some joke. To this day, the pair love a good festival and West Chester, PA is second to none on the festival scene - music, street, chili, restaurant, etc..
With the love and support of his family, friends and community, Noel fought cancer for 2 years and finally started to make some progress in early 2025. This is when he decided that he wanted to build something lasting for the future. After binge watching Shark Tank and Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives one cold winter night, The Cornery popped back into Noel’s head.
What if we launched a food service concept that focused entirely on corn? The couple thought that they could serve a highly underserved customer segment - those following a gluten-free diet or affected by celiac disease - as well young families and students. However, to be successful, "good enough for gluten-free" wouldn't suffice. The food would need to be fresh, it would have to be of the highest quality and, most of all, it would have to TASTE GOOD! From there, the spark was ignited and The Cornery became a reality.
After 6 months in the test kitchen, the recipes are tried, tested and approved, The Cornery will start as a food truck in West Chester, PA but Noel and Megann hope to evolve the concept into a full scale restaurant (or restaurants) that can be enjoyed by all.
